Marriage, Thomas Watson-Sarah Mcnally

Just visiting from Derbyshire board I have a problem, Thomas Watson born Cumberland? Married Sarah Mcnally born Durham? I don't know birth years but hope to find out from Marriage details but can guess they married c1915-1920 most of the search engines don't go this far so I am struggling.

If you go to www.ancestry.co.uk and look at the FreeBMD index on there, put in a name and get a result then scroll to the bottom of the entries.   It gives you an option to look at the entire GRO images from 1837 to 1980s.    You see exactly what is in the books at the Family Record Centre.   As far as I can tell it is free to search.     You should be able to find the marriage on that.    If by any chance it is just for members then try taking out a two week trial - links from rootschat.   You can cancel it if you do not want to continue.

Dear Sillgen,
                    Thanks very much,I had looked on there and it says search the records 1837-1983 but the latest record on there is 1910   I think Thomas was born c1896 so would'nt be getting married till 1916ish

You should click on "Marriages"

At some point you will have to register to access the info, but shouldn't have to pay.
