WATERINGBURY PR: VOUSDEN

My maternal g2 grandfather was William Vousden. In 1851,1861 census he said he was b. Wateringbury ~1803. I'm hoping that the Wateringbury PR will give some info regarding his parents and siblings. There is anecdotal evidence that his father was Richard Vousden from Brenchley but it would be great if that could be confirmed - or refuted!

I've finally been able to look at the Wateringbury register, and my question is answered..up to a point. However, as always, new questions arise. At this point I need to find the Tonbridge Nonconformist Registers (esp Christ Church Congregational). The copies at the Centre for Kentish Studies at Maidstone have been lost. Anyone know of other copies?

Parents were Samuel Vousden and Esther
