Lewis - 33 Aberdyberthy St, Hafod, Swansea

My Grandpa, Iowerth John Lewis was born here on 6 October 1918. His father (John Lewis) and mother (Jenny Lewis (nee Francis) are named on his birth cert.

No idea about any siblings. Realise 1911 census is well buried. Any clues?

Not sure where to start.

Researching the more popular names (such as LEWIS, JONES etc) in Wales can be a bit daunting!

One benefit of looking for siblings born after 1911 is that the mother's maiden name is also listed.

You will find that freebmd is a bit limited after about 1910 and is in any case incomplete (but they are working really hard to finish it!)

You might need to use other sites, such as Ancestry, 1837online or familyrelatives - some of which charge for viewing search results.
