Help! Where has Flisk gone?! COMPLETED - THANKS!
« on: Saturday 28 January 06 08:13 GMT (UK) »
Hoping someone can help with directions.  Have connections with Flisk, near Newburgh as far as i can make out.  I'm hoping to be in that area over the weekend and thought I had nothing better to do than go onto multimap.com and figure out where exactly it is..... WRONG!  Flisk seems to ahve vanished off the face of the earth.  Can anyone tell me if it is still there and just too small to appear on the map or has it been swallowed up by somewhere larger?  And if so - where?!
Thanks for any help!

Hello Anna

By Googling "flisk genuki"

http://www.genuki.org.uk/cgi-bin/places?FIF,NO314226,5,Flisk

At least that is where it used to be, LOL!  ;D

You should be able to use the ref to find it on an OS map.  If you put "NO314226" into http://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/oswebsite/getamap/  - up it pops!

Have a nice trip!!

kind regards, Arranroots

Thanks for that, Arranroots - was able to find where it used to be but map reading skills are, to say the least, dire and was going cross eyed staring at the computer!
Glad to know it hasn't vanished as previously thought!
