Prices from Pontlottyn

I am looking for Price family, originating Pontlottyn, Glam. probably in the Dover/Folkestone areas. I am a direct dscendant of Richard Price and Lavinia nee Brannan. Richard's sisters Mildred and Annie May moved to this area. Here's hoping!

Hi, Steph! Info a bit sketchy I'm afraid. Mildred Price b. Sept 26 1909 (I think), the writing in the family Bible is hard to read. Annie Mary Price b. March 17th 1897. Mildred's married name was Wright. If you PM me, I'll give you more info.

They are still in Wales in 1901 RG13/5021 Folio 24 p.10 but you may have that already?

Hi Ozlady

There was a Mildred WRIGHT died in the Shepway district (covers Folkestone) in April 1984.  The date of birth in the death indexes is given as 27 Sep 1909 - could that be her   The ref. is volume 16 page 1477

Thanks, Casalguidi but not the one. Her married name was Wright (see above). Hoping to spend a few days around Dover/Folkestone in the coming weeks.
