Looking for marriage

I'm looking for a marriage between a Thomas Hunt and Mary Norton. On the 1851 census, they are in Yorks, and have two children, the youngest born c1848. (shes from Derbys, hes from Lincs, the children are born Yorks)
I've found a marriage for Mary Norton in December 1846, Lincoln - one of the grooms being a "Thomas Hurt". Do you think this could be a mistranscriiption? I'd appreciate your opinions before I go ahead and buy the certificate.
Thanks
Catherine

Could well be
Do you know either of their father's names? If so, you could use this checking criteria, to save shelling out for the full cost of the certificate.

No idea!
I got Thomas's name of their sons marriage certificate and Marys maiden name off their sons birth certificate. Might just have to take the plunge!
Thanks
Catherine

Looking at the images off Ancestry, there's a Thomas Hurt, Lincoln, volume XIV, page 833, which matches with the Mary Norton. But I suppose the error could be in the original index?
