Hi Biddy,

Did you find May Bagnell in the 1901 Census ??

Did May live in Islington untill she left for Ireland ?

Regards

Sarah :)

Hi Sarah,

Thanks your reply..

Yes she was born in Islington in 1898 and yes, I Have found May in the 1901 census   RG13/118 - Folio 38 - page 8
I am presuming that she stayed in Islington,Camden or Kentish Town   near her family before she left for Ireland.

I was told that May changed her religion to catholic and then moved to Ireland.

My mum was a young child at the time and  can not remember how old she was, or pin point to anything that might jog her memory  to the date May left  for Ireland..  My mum was born in 1942

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated!
