MURPHY, Mary Jane b Whitby NOT. wrong county. Close!!

Searching for g.mother Mary Jane b 1885, who claimed to be from Whitby, where her father was employed on mines.
She married my g.father John (Joseph) Cahill, who was from Belfast. The Cahills and Murphy's all ended up in Belfast.
Mary jane had siblings John and Margaret (Maggie).

What was her fathers name?  On the 1891 census there are 10 Mary Murphy's b Yorkshire between 1884-1887

Many thanks for your comments and suggestions. I have been searching the beta BMD and 1901 as well as other sources, without success. Unfortunately I don't know any other family names or background.
All I have been able to find is a probable address in Belfast in 1912, together with a signiture for a Mary Jane Cahill.
I will just have to keep on scratching.

Thanks to all who have worked on this.
All in vain, I'm afraid. New info shows MJM was not born in Whitby, but in Whitehaven in Cumberland, where I have found her family in 1881 and 1891.
