William Samways

Hi all,
New to this site and I was wondering if anyone here descends from William & Harriet Samways(nee Goodfellow).
They married 1814 in Marylebone, London.
According to Family search.com they had the following children:
Samuel b:1824
George: b:1817
Charles: b: 1821
William b: 1815
Philip: b: 1819
Henry b: 1827

Henry was part of the 65th Regiment and settled in NZ.

Are you simply trying to find any living descendants of William & Harriet Samways & their children or do you want any info we can come up with.   ?   This means census info & any BMDs we can find, if this is so, we really nead to know just what you already know, to save doublng up on work.  For instance, when did Henry settle in NZ, was he married before he left England, do you have any army records for him. ?  It all helps to set the fuller picture.  Also, if you have spouse's names for the children it is a starting point.

Thank you for your reply.

I was hoping to find any living descendants of William and Harriet.

Henry settled here in 1846. And married c1864.
I have a lot of info about him and the regiments from some books I found.
They were able to tell me where he was born and his occupation before he joined the Army.

I have no idea what happened to the other children. There is a William SAMWAYS who immigrated to New York and his age is pretty much the same as the William born 1815.
