probably a dumb question from a beginner! - COMPLETED, THANKS
« on: Tuesday 07 February 06 10:17 GMT (UK) »
I have posted several messages and none of them show that blue 'new' box in the query box - can somebody tell me what I am not doing right please?

Many thanks,
Maggie

Hi Maggie

The "blue flag" is to show a new posting that you haven't read - your postings won't show this unless you have any new replies because effectively you read them when you post them.  Does this make sense?

Casalguidi :)

Dear Maggie,

Just to add to Casalguidi's response, there is only one single solitary dumb question on this or any other mailing list - it is the one you DON'T ask!

Do please ask away!

All questions which newbies or oldies ask are worthwhile and are there to be answered  :D

Keep your questions coming!  And also your genealogical puzzles.

JAP

Thanks everybody for taking the time to sort me out - the answer is obvious when you think about it isn't it?  I'm a member for less than a week so that's my excuse!!
