Elizabeth ANDERSON & Phillip LINES

Can anyone find Phillip Lines and his wife Elizabeth who were married in 1794 in Ayot St. Peter, on the 1841 Census.

I would also like to try and find out if there was any witnesses mentioned on the records, or whether there was any mention of their ages, at their wedding on 30.10.1794. 

Any information would be appreciated.

Hi Hoppity,

The Hertfordshire Burial Index includes an entry for a Phillip Lines, age 64,  20 November 1838,  Ayot St.Peters.

There is no trace of Elizabeth in Ayot in 1841.

Hi Pauline,

I found the marriage entry in the Ayot St.Peters PRs  ...

Phillip Lines and Elizabeth Anderson of this parish were married by banns on 30th October 1794.  Witnesses Martha Patmore and Mary Lines.  (All signed except Elizabeth who made her mark).

I also found the following baptisms for children of Phillip and Elizabeth at Ayot St.Peters   ...
Mary 05 Apr 1794   -   Hannah  23 Jul 1797   -    Richard 08 Jun 1800.

Unfortunately the witnesses give me no connection.  I was so hoping!!!!!!

However all this is building up a big picture and something somewhere has got to fit in.   It is a frustrating but enjoyable jigsaw!!!
