It should say name and occupation and hopefully address...only one listing I found didn't have address. I can ask next time I am at the archives if they
also have directories for Alberta...an address would get you closer to finding
him on the 1911...IF that is his listing...Why they didn't write the full name I'll never know....

Got all excited that maybe I could have some luck on the 1906, as that was Prairie Province ...and just got these...

Thomas Alexandra  51 Manitoba  Lisgar District
and a Joseph A.  Alexandra 40   Livingston Alberta   and a Dave, Alberta

I meant if I find the address, you can perhaps locate him on the 1911 census...
( the actual image files, only accessible with ward/street information)
otherwise, it's hurry up and wait for the listing to show up on the transcribed
version.

Do have to apologise as I went to the archives and forgot your request information...so will check next time I go...not sure when that will be but apologise for that.... Don't go more than every few months, these days,
I am afraid...  sorry J.J.

I now know that Lizzie Trumper was in fact my grandfather George William Arthur Charles's 2nd wife who he married in Quebec in 1911 before returning to England in 1916. In 1914 they had a daughter Dorothy Gladys who was born in Carleton Ottawa. In 1922 he married my grandmother Helen Pringle Brown in County Durham. Any information gratefully received particularly re his first marriage possibly in the US or Canada.
