Winefred Rhodes - birth record - COMPLETED

According to IGI my gt (x2) grandmother was born:

20.05.1839 in Shipley, christened 16.06.1839.

I have searched BMD on Ancestry & FreeBMD but cannot find a record of her birth.

I want to get a copy of her birth certificate to check her parents as there were 2 Thomas Rhodes (father & son) and each married an Ann.  Whilst I am pretty sure which set is her parents I would like to get the birth cert to confirm.

If anyone can find the GRO ref for me I'd be most grateful.

Civil Registration bagan in July 1839

Therefore your 2x grandmother was born 2 monthsa to early to be registered.

Sorry, no birth certificate will be available

Thanks Chris, I was under the impression it was all from 1837

I think you're right on 1837... but registration wasn't compulsory

Have looked at 1851 census and birth dates for parents as good as confirms that I have the right parents.

Have confirmed I have the right parents. The other Ann Rhodes died in 1829, before winifred was born.
