My gggrandfather Henry "Harry" Gibson was born in London c1833 and had father John and mother Hannah. They emigrated to New Zealand c1848. In NZ, the father John was a woodcarver and Henry a shepherd. I can't find them in IGI/Ancestry or the ship they sailed on. I can't find anything on them in NZ until Henry got married in Nelson in 1862. Henry's death cert gives place of birth as London.
If anybody can shed light on the London origins or their time in NZ till 1862, I would be really grateful.
