Looking for James W Possee in 1901 & 1891 at Milton/Gravesend, he is married to Martha and they had a son Bertie J Possee in 1889......

Re James William Posse, born, in 1847 at Chart Sutton in Kent.

James Posse was my great grandfather., and Martha nee Hastings My great grandmother.

To my knowledge they had 8 children

Nellie
William and Bertie who both went to Australia.
Winifred known as Win, who was my grandmother.
Flo, May, and Louisa Kate known as Mick.
Daisy who died at a young age.

I have a photo of James Posse.

Our family emmigrated to New Zealand in 1951, so now there is  a whole branch of the family here.

Are you related to James Posse?

Not sure if anyone will be reading this post as the last one was in 2006, but my great grandfather was Bertie Possee so I'm one of the Australian Possees. Can help out with some info if anyone is interested :-) I'm curious to find out if anyone has info on Nellie Possee as father not listed on birth certificate :-)
