I am searching for Margaret Mc Arthur on 1880 census from IGI she is Lobo Middlesex North, Ontario born 1821 Scotland and widowed any more information would be most appreciated.

There's a Margaret McArthur who died Feb. 28, 1888 who was 71 years old and was born in Argyleshire, Scotland.  She died in Middlesex County

There's also another Margaret McArthur, she's the wife of Dougald McArthur, who died Sept 23, 1886.  Address is Lot 14, Conc. 6, Lobo Township, Middlesex.  She was 38 years old.

Thank you so much for your quick response. Margaret was born in Dumfries Scotland 1820-1828 second husband Duncan Mc Arthur so all I've got to do now is find her. You have been a great help I can discount that line of inquiry now . Terri

Any idea what Margaret's maiden name was or her first husband's last name?

Margaret's maiden name was Roddick her first husband was William Walker I only have her second wedding to Duncan MacArthur in 1866 and on 1871 census and I have found her entering Castle Garden 1873 but can't find her anywhere after that. Have searched Scotland and England.

I notice you have done some searching in Ireland. Margaret's parents are from Ireland County Down. Have not been able to find their marriage. William Roddick born 1786 and Jean Craig born 1788-1790.
