Ellen White ?Glenties

I am trying to find my Grandmother, Ellen White who was born c.1860 (father George White, sister Mary Jane White who became Mrs. Ellison of Carrickmore, Co.Tyrone and possibly brother George)

I dont know where she was born, some say Co.Tyrone, but she was given a Bible by a Mrs. Stewart of Killindarragh on Aug 25th 1878. I think this could have been as she left to become a maid in Brownhall, Ballintra. Three years later she married John McVitty, my Grandfather. So I now wonder if she was from Co.Donegal after all. I have had trouble finding Killindarragh (Mrs.Stewart spelled it 'Killindarough') but I'm fairly sure its the same place.

Does anyone know of a family of Whites who would fit the description? They are not on the I.G.I Index.

I now know Killindarragh is near Glenties so Ellen may have been baptised in Glenties C.of I. On the 1901 she is recorded as being from Co.Donegal so I'm getting closer! Anyone able to help?
