I am trying to trace ELIZABTH EDWARDS, b 1847 in Cardiff area I believe. If anyone can help, please get in touch. She married HENRY MORGAN b 1846.

Hi,

I am not sure when she married but I know that she married a Henry Parry Morgan. Do you have a record of their marriage? I would also be interested to know when she died. Henry Parry Morgan was my Mum's father. He was obviously married to Elizabeth before he met my mum's mother. I believe he and Elizabeth had three sons but have no idea how I can trace them or any record of them. They woul all have been born pre 1919. Any ideas how I could find out?

As you have the Edwards & Morgan names in your tree it's difficult without isolating dates, so do you have the wedding certificate and place of marriage for your Grandparents , then we would know from what date to look backwards.

I think Henry Parry Morgan, my grandfather, son of Henry George Morgan and Elizabeth Edwards, may have married a Hannah Jane Davies in 1905 in Cardiff. It was them that had 3 sons that I would like to trace but unsure how to. They were born between 1905 and 1919. I think Hannah may have died  pre 1919.
Any ideas?

Have you tried a long letter to Cardiff Registry Office?  I know......it's old fashioned research....... but it seems to me that if you told them all the information you have they would come up trumps for you.

'Cos if you are not in the UK it might prove more difficult to meet costs etc.
