Looking for info on Shipwrecks in Anglesey
« on: Wednesday 01 March 06 00:49 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to find a web site that would be able to help with shipwrecks in the Rhosneigr area.

My Great Great Uncle died at the age of 18 and he died in Rhosneigr even though he lived in another area of the island. I have a feeling that he may have been involved with ships of some kind and would just like to see if there was any kind of shipwreck or similar on or near 30 September 1893.

Can anyone give me any ideas of where to start looking please?

Thanks Kali

For some unknown reason Ihadn't thought to add any details - how stupid am I today??

My Great Great Uncle was Owen Thomas born May 27 ( we think) 1875 in Aberffraw, Anglese. He died at the age of 18 on 30 sept 1893 at either Rhosneigr or Holyhead. His death is registered at Holyhead though Family papers state Rhosneigr

I'm still looking but not finding much
