What does this mean...
« on: Friday 01 October 04 13:45 BST (UK) »
Hello all

Does anyone know exactly what this means? -

Rutland: North Luffenham - Parish Register, 1572-1812
Calendar of Wills Proved and of Administrations Granted in the Commissary Court of the Peculiar and Exempt Jurisdiction of Groby, 1580-1800.
Buryals in the Parish of North Luffenham
   1690
County: Rutland
Country: England

25 Mar 1690 Samuel Matlock infant in ye keeping of a certain Traveller buried in woollen only. This child appeared afterward to be ye natural Son of one Alexander Hack and given a false name to pass undiscovered

I mean, I have a vague idea! I'm just not sure of the relevance of it.. If you know what I mean. What kind of record is it?

Thank you!

Mim
