I am carrying out a one name study into my mothers maiden name of TRANGMAR, the majority of which are from the Brighton, Sussex area.

Another branch and variant is the TRANMER family who are in the Scarborough area of Yorkshire.

We made contact a few years ago, my wife Angela was an Elstone from Guildford, her trail goes via Dartford back to Bramshott to Henry and Ann Over.

Thanks for your reply. I haven't done much research on this line, as I am struggling to reduce the large mountain of paper to a much smaller pile, I am ever hopeful!
