SPENCE marriage lookup

Looking for the two marriages for Alexander SPENCE born 1778 Duns. I have record of a child born to Alexander SPENCE and Christian BELL in Allanton in 1804, but cannot find their marriage or her death records. Also believe he remarried to a Margaret (Born 1805 Denholm, Roxburgh) possibly 1840ish with children born 1841 and 1844 in Leitholm or Eccles, Berwickshire.
