If only he had the same amount on top!

It has taken me a whole year to find out who it might be after finding it unlabelled in my gran's things. Now I know who it might be, i just need to figure out which one!

Could it be earlier?

I have a relative who has just celebrated his 90th birthday - he remembers seeing it when he was young (1916 onwards) but was told it was his grandfather or great grandfather

It could quite easily be earlier, wait until others make their suggestion before you put a name on him.

I also have a picture of a man with a very similar moustache, he is also in very similar clothing, the style of the jacket is the same and the collar of the shirt is the same. My picture was taken in 1912.

Ageing aside - am I the only one who thinks he looks like Paw Broon from the Broons (Scottish cartoon family published as an annual along with Oor Wullie)
