I am looking for any information on the Becton family.
My Grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Becton was born in Dublin in September 1871.
Her parents were Richard Becton and Rose Farley of Brabazon Row, Dublin. There was also a son, George Becton born in 1867 also at the same address.
I cannot find any record for either Richard Becton or Rose Farley.
I have the birth certificate for Mary Elizabeth Becton but cannot find the church in which she was baptised.
Mary married Peter Moore who worked for the Dublin Metropolitan Police. They married in 1892. I have their marriage certificate.
Mary died in 1908 along with several of her daughters.
Any help in finding more information would be most appreciated.
Mary's brother George wrote a letter in 1940's stating they were orphaned as children. My Uncle always said Mary was raised in Enniscorthy, whether that was in an orphanage or not I do not know.
