Hello, I am looking for information on a James Francis Birch who in 1901 was living at Rickmansworth, Hertford, from the 1906 army lists his rank was Capt. S O of pensioners, I was wondering if he was a well known character in the area at the time and if anyone from the area has come across him or the family in their research, also his wife Juliana, and children including Dorothy Featherstone Birch born 1895, any help will be appreciated.
