I'm looking for info. on the Dobbins family who lived in Warrington Place and Fenian St (both in Dublin) between 1918 and 1950 approx. In particular, Peter Dobbins, his wife Margaret Cullen and both their parents

My study theme is the Dobbins family from Dublin, but as info is very difficult to obtain, the families marrying into the Dobbins strain will need to be researched as well.

I think you're possibly researching my family. I've only just started myself so have no info what so ever. My Grand mother is Dora Dobbyns (nee Cullen) and my Grand Father was Michael Dobbyns (Dobbins).

Any info you could supply would be much appreciated

The site is devoted to the name Dobbyn and they seem to have originated in Moone,Co.Kildare.

Could be a breakthrough !!
It has been difficult to find Dobbins', and especially my grandparents, who were resident in Dublin.
They were a poor family living in a tenement building and didn't merit more than a 'residents' reference in the census.

I have cousins who have recently moved to county kildare, so could be a good sign !!!!

I tried the site you suggested, but didn't find a link to my family, although it has given me a couple of ideas to follow.
