Try Mine of Information. www.mineofinfo.ac.uk Swansea Uni also have lots of records.

Thanks for that ozlady.  It's a good site, however, it has a link to another site which is actually really good.

I have found the name of my gt-grandfather on there, so going to apply and see if it's him and what info comes back.  I will let you know.

Glad to be of help. I think it's the first time I've been able to repay for all the help I've received!

Well, I had a reply back and it wasn't him.  Ah well.  :(

The service is excellent though.  I would recommend it.

Glad to be of help. I think it's the first time I've been able to repay for all the help I've received!

I know what you mean, I seem to do far more asking than helping.  It's because the folks on here are so good.  I am still fairly new to it all, so they beat me to it every time.

Go to bbc.wales and follow the links. Probably no help to you, but might be of interest. I used to live in Caerphilly, next door to Sneggy.

The national library in Aberystwyth should be able to help you.

If you google for "llgc" that'll take you to the right page. they usually reply to my emails within a couple of days.
