Passenger Lists on Line
« on: Saturday 18 March 06 22:30 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to find a record of my great grand father to the U.S. in 1859. I have checked lists of Ancestry.com, Castle Gardens, Ellis Island, ISTG(6Volumes) and LDS without success. Is there any other lists available on-line or indices that I could check??

Any help would be appreciated.

I am looking for George McLernon(born 1844) and William J. McLernon(Born 1840) probably travelling together from Ireland. They arrived in the U.S. in 1858 to 1864.(ie before or during the civil war)

Any help will be appreciated!

Thanks

Hello Ozlady:

I have found later records of ship arrivals but I am trying to find records prior to the end of the Civil War specifically 1859-1864. Any help would be appreciated!!
