Would love to know if this Photo was added after death, Man  died in 1891 at the age of 37 wife 35 at that stage. This photo was a postcard sent years later to one of their daughters saying best wishes from Mam and Dad the daughter in question was 2 when father died. any takers on this mystery

It looks quite an old photo. Do you think her mother sent it to her maybe years afterwards as a little reminder of them together.

Just a thought Gadget I have posted on Armed Forces site, a picture under the heading Unknown Regiment, if anyone can have a look and compare they are both taken in same studios, but should have been about 20 years apart, that old wodden bench certainly stood the test of time

I'm just thinking - she seems to have her hair short and I don't think that they did in the early 1890s. And she certainly looks in her 40s. Do you think it was her in-laws or did she (her mother) remarry
