wife  - I know about her.. sorry.
Daughter - Ann aged abt 22 years birthplace Tetsworth

                            If only Ann were there - she could have concreted it for me,
                             Can I ask what the 'Y' is for at the end of each?
                             In my request I typed  'wife.. i know about her sorry' that should have read 'I don't know anything about her, sorry'

                            I feel excitedly nervous as this could very well be my next generation back,  but the only definite details I have is that William was a basket maker.. ( from Anns marriage certificate) The 1851 Census of St. Pancras London, showed Ann as being from Tetsworth.

the 1841 doesn't give actual place of birth, only whether born in the County...hence Y for Yes and N for No.,  doesn't give relationships either!

Did Ann have many children? it is possible there may be a naming pattern....ie some of her children named after her siblings/parents

            Thank you once again for explain the details of census.

             I have only established 3 children so far for Ann and there is not a pattern  as she has a James, Henry and Frances..

             I might try the 1851 Census for William and his family.. ( I know it won't show Ann as she was married by that time).
