I am looking for my gr gr grandmother Mary Worton born 1800. Carlow County, Carlow, Ireland.
She was married in Manchester Cathedral in Sept 1825 to Hugh Hodson. Lived in Manchester for the rest of her life. In 1881 census she finally gives her age as 79 yrs and place of birth Carlow. All other census report birthplace Ireland.
Her youngest son Joseph Hodson b 1846 Manchester was my gr grandfather.
Any help would be appreciated as I have no idea on Irish research. I am in Queensland, Australia
