Could anyone please help me track down SHAYLER SURMAN. I'm interested in finding him as he is the only link that I have to my grandfather! If I tell you that he is the nephew of my grandfather by marriage, I think you will understand just how close my family are
Shayler was on the death certificate of my step-grandmother Hattie Leeson nee Stock as the informant (he was her nephew) in 1976 in Bedford in England. He gave his address as 54 Bayside Square North, Sutton, Dublin. Hattie was born in 1897.
On 1837online, there was a Shayler Surman who died in 2002 aged 52, but this CAN'T be my Shayler, as that would mean he was born in 1950, which would be far too old for any of Hattie's sisters to be the mother of. (unless he meant great-nephew...
)

BTW his full name is Shayler Sidney John Surman (try saying that quickly!)
