Hi,

I would like to thank all the photographic restoration volunteers on roots.   You do a spectacular job on my photos! (My family tree is looking great thanks to your hard work).
Also I am having my hall redecorated to display your work because the restored photos look spectacular framed.

This photograph of Aunt May has been sent to me via a contact on Genes Reunited, it’s the only photo Aunt May (so very special).  Professional restorers please.

Please can you clean it up for me, also would love to see it in colour (eye colour blue/grey).

There was not much wrong with this one ... a clean up, edges neatened and  levels adjusted ...its a beautiful photo ...  Have done b/w and sepia... Will leave it to some one else to do the colouring ! 
 You sure are keeping us occupied Biddy ! 
 Just as long as we don't have to do the decorating too !!

I love these photos of yours, they are beautiful and clear, makes it easy to work with! 
Here is the beginning of my colourising attempt for Aunty May.  Let me know if you want anything changed - her hair colour or dress for example.  This is only the flat colours, I will be adding more contrast later on.

The Photo looks great-perfect, no need to change anything.

I have been Practising colourising on this photo myself (may is very pleasant to look at for hours)… My attempts are looking better, thanks to the website address Keith gave me.
