There were Allam families in Kirton in Holland (ref IGI batch P006071) .Similarly there were very early incidences of the Surname Nurss in Boston. So you're looking for those names married into your families.

Hello Matt...thank you for your kind offer.....I did not reply earlier we were taking a bit of R&R on the coast the weather is perfect around 25o & it is supposed to be Autumn to-morrow is going to be 29o crazy weather.... still in horrible drought here have only had 1 heavy shower of rain since Xmas.....fingers crossed we get some rain soon.......what type of info can you help me with?????.......My Buff & Long familys were both in & around Kirton they were Labourers....my ancestor Maurice Long came to Australia in 1855 aged 21 years after losing his Mum & Dad & 8 or 9 of his brothers & sisters when they were quite young..... so I suppose there was no reason to stay in England anymore.....we visited there 3 years ago just stooging around....very limited time when you are travelling overseas......thanks once again looking forward to hearing from you....regards Janet
