1891 and 1901 Census for Robinson in Middlesbrough

Hi There!    ;)

Could someone please look up William Edward Robinson in Middlesbrough
1891 and 1901.
He could have been born c.1880 - 1885. Parents? Siblings?    ???

He married in 1906 and came to Australia!

If you know he married in 1906 your best bet is to look for the marriage, get the certificate and then you will know who his father was.   Robinson is an extremely common name in that area and he may well not be shown with the middle name.  BMDs are free to search on ancestry.co.uk at the moment.   Choose the Beta version.  Double check the reference against the wife's  name and you can order it online from the GRO using the reference provided or you could write direct to the local register office.  There is a link to Teesside BMDs at the top of the board somewhere too I think.

I've emailed another distant relative....may have a lead for me!..Have to wait and see...but this looks like the one I'm after!     ;D

I have William Edward Robinson Death Reg here in New South Wales..He died in 1952.....I won't get Certificate because it has "parents unknown" His wife died a couple of years before him!

There are 3 William E Robinsons born in the area between 1882 and 1885.  There is a marriage in 1906 so as Andrea says the safest thing would be a copy of the certificate to confirm his father's name - then you'll be sure you are on to the right ones.
