Young & Smith Marriage - Lewes area

Hi,

Is anybody able to look up a marriage for a Mary Ann Young from Lewes, daughter of Henry Young & Mary Ann and a John Smith (possibly from Bournemouth). Their first child was born in about 1888 so I suspect their marriage to be around this time.

Your best bet is to search the GRO index for the marriage...you can search for free here..http://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/rectype/vital/freebmd/bmd.aspx  I would work back quarter by quarter from the birth date of the first child,
