I am trying to do this for a friend's family. I have William Watson b. Sept 5, 1892 and according to his daughter it was in a place called Fern. Well after searching, I find no less than 5 places that begin with Fern within Tyrone. He and his wife, Annie Jane Maxwell were married in Strabane, Dec 26, 1912, had a daughter there Mayme Watson, Feb 28, 1914. Weirdly enough she just died here in Manitoba last week at the ripe old age of 92. They came to Canada in 1915. But I know that William's parents names were William and Jane (White). I really need a 1901 and 1911 census look up. I'm not familiar with Irish records, I'm great with Scotland tho!
