I  am searching for any thing on the  family of Isaac corns  in Wigan 1849 onwards and his father John from Prescot, are there any descendants. I am having trouble as to when they died. Thank you for lookin

well , it`s been quite a few weeks since I was on Roots chat but have been searching on and off throughout. Time is a big factor and working doesn`t help. I am sure I am right with a Peter Corns being the father of John Corns (Prescot ) and his daughter Alice wed ? Winstanley  (Kathleen Winstanley is/was related) . John, son of John was my Grandfather and Moses Corns was killed in a coalmine accident (I think he fell off a roof ) 1925/7 .

Thank you Heatherjulie  and garstonite  , I was aware of the Halewood connection but am sure I couldn`t really commit but you kind of proved it for me , thanks. I have the death of Moses ,I reckon he was named after his G.father (Moses Brennan /Brannen .....
