Kings Somborne marriages/deaths

Looked on the http://www.communigate.co.uk/hants/somsoc/page11.phtml webpage and found children born to Charles and Ann Lawrence in 1800 and 1801.  Starting in 1803 the Lawrence children are born to Charles and Amelia Lawrence with no Ann appearing.  Can someone check deaths to see if Ann Lawrence died between Sep 1801 and Dec 1802?  Also marriage information listing maiden names of both Ann and Amelia would be very much appreciated.

Thank you once again, Nell.     Since I sent the query yesterday I've discovered that all the Lawrences on the baptism list are related to Charles, my 4th g-grandfather.  I don't yet know where/when he was born since he doesn't appear to have any siblings living in the same parish.

Would it be too much to ask that you see what other Lawrences appear in the burial record you have access to?  They would be his children/grandchildren or their wives.  He married a third time---Martha and had two more children at the same time his grandchildren were being born. 

I haven't found any microfilm at the LDS library that covers the parish of Kings Somborne.  I'm not yet sure how to access the pre-1800 birth records and the marriage records for the parish.  I don't want to impose on you and others, but really am so appreciative of the help of those on this board.

Extra information for you - he was a dairyman, lived at Brooke in Kings Somborne and left a will, ref 1828B/46.  I don't know where you are but you may be able to order a photocopy from the record office in Winchester if you are interested.

And - oh, wow - I don't know if you have this information, but there are some papers at Winchester relating to the Lawrence family of Kings Somborne dated 1892-1901.  The catalogue says this:

Transcripts of letters of the Lawrence family of Kings Somborne, mainly correspondence between two brothers, Benjamin Lawrence (1844-1921) and Charles Lawrence (1836-1898). Charles emigrated to New Zealand with his family in 1874. Also includes a draft family tree, notes about the family and a publication in the Old Homes of Central Northland series [New Zealand] about the area in which the Lawrence family settled. This includes copy photographs of family members and their farm.

Some of the letters date from the 1860s and there are a number of other items which look mighty interesting.  Do you know about these?

Many, Many thanks!  I live in California, USA, but I'll look into ordering a photocopy of the will and would love to see the other papers you found.  I didn't know I had Lawrence relatives in Australia.  This is very exciting.  I just love genealogy--surprises around every corner!  I'd love to have a look at the letters.  I'll check into it.  Thanks ever so much for your help.  I wonder if Benjamin who died in 1786 was Charles' father?  The Winchester papers may hold a clue.  Have a great day.  --Leslie

Oops!     I said Australia when I meant New Zealand.  We Californians do know there is a difference.  And, no, I didn't know about the papers before you told me.
