Solomon Rees/Reece 1861/71

Solomn Reece was born in Kington in Sept 1854 to Ann Reece, no father is recorded in Kington.
Can someone check where he was in 1861 and 1871, and where Ann was in 1851 please ?

Address: Swan Village, West Bromwich, Staffordshire

It was not uncommon for children who shared a first name with their parent to be know by their "Sunday best" name while living at home.  Best match I could find!

Did Ann marry later?  The best way of checking on her father's name and occupation would be by obtaining a marriage cert.

Will have a look for Solomon in 1871.

p.s. there is a much older Ann RICE in Kington in 1851 - maybe her grandmother?  She might have been sent back there to have the baby, but that is speculation on my part (unless you know who reported the birth?)

Solomon could be in Radnorshire as in 1881 he is at Old Radnor. working as an agricultural labourer.
