Roderick/ Rhydderch

Does anyone have any info on the names Roderick/ Rhydderch and varients around the Myddfai/Mothvey areas or Carms in general?

Was the name interchangable from the Welsh/English version or did families stick to one etc.

Any info or incite regarding this name(s) would be appreciated, particulary interested about the late 1700's

only me!!
Couldn't leave it alone,so googled Rhydderch family Myddfai and theres a chap on there who has tons of info on Carmarthenshire Rhydderch/Roddericks etc.
Have a look, if you cant find him ...shout as it's really interesting!!
