Hi - this is just a shout out to see if anyone else is reseaching Firth's in Wakefield.
I have been told my 3x great grandfather George Firth (immigrated to America abt 1857, died 1912 in Iowa) was from Wakefield.
This was the family - additions, corrections and other info very welcome! I am especially looking for confirmation that George b. 1837 did emigrate to America (as in, old letters to sibings etc) but that's a long shot!
