COMPLETED Flitton w/ Silsoe PR look-up MEDLOCK
« on: Monday 17 April 06 20:26 BST (UK) »
I would be very grateful if anyone with the transcription of Flitton with Silsoe parish register could check the baptisms of William and John MEDLOCK/MIDLOCK on 31 July 1785 and 14 Jan 1787, sons of Alexander and Elizabeth. Was there any other detail, apart from the birthdates which are shown on the IGI?

I suspect they were the Alexander and Elizabeth who married in Stevenage in 1784 and where they had a couple of children baptised from 1789-91, before moving on to Edworth Beds where they baptised another 8 children.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for checking Susan. I think I'm on fairly safe ground in assuming they were the same couple - there weren't too many Alexander Medlocks around! Must try to check marriages/burials in Edworth

Thanks again
