Ballycraigy Congregational Church
« on: Wednesday 19 April 06 23:00 BST (UK) »
My family have had links with this church since before 1836.

I would like to know if there are any records surviving for birth /marriage and deaths and if the graveyard had a plan and records to it.

And please if anyone could tell me what happened to the graves /bodies when the carpark was made over the top of them

Someone there may be able to provide the information you require.

Steve:
I see where the church has published a book on its history.

"Copies of the Church's new book, detailing its 200 year history, are available for sale at only £10. This beautiful hard back book has been produced to give not only a history of the past two hundred years but also to give a record for the future of the church as it is today in 2005."

Thank you so much for looking
Hag Lane...hee hee
I have managed to moved forward with some help and Alice ,Ann, and Sarah seem to have moved to London in the 1840's /1850's and had left Sunderland, most probably because their father Alexander had died in 1847.
I f you ever come across a Sarah Pell or Sarah Twig in that area please let me know.

Thank you again most appreciated  ;D

Stevenson

http://www.proni.gov.uk/records/private/cr7%5F1.htm Broken Link

is a very brief introduction to Congregationalist records at PRONI.

You will find some Irish Congregationalist records (NOT Ballycraigy) on my website, eg:
