1841 and 1851 census - Turley

I have a Robert Turley born abt 1788 Rolvenden.  Can someone check to see whether the family were still in Rolvenden in 1841 and 1851.

There was a son Robert who was still in Rolvenden in 1881.

I am also interested in a Richard Turley who may have been in Hawkhurst at this time.

Any help will be gratefully appreciated as I will be unable to get to the Kent Records Office for some time.

Robert TURLEY of Rolvenden married Sophia BUTCHER of Staplehurst on 16/10/1810 by licence at Staplehurst.  Her father was John BUTCHER.

I've just realised that this Robert isn't the same as the one I thought I was chasing.  I have one who was living at Gate House Rolvenden at the time of the 1881 census with an age of 67.  Even allowing for people not 'remembering' their correct age I can't see that this Robert only aged 4 years between 1851 and 1881!

Whoops!  I forgot I already knew that Robert had a son called Robert.  As he isn't listed on the 1841 census at that address I got confused.

Right can anyone trace me another Robert Turley who would have been about 27 at the time of the 1841 census.  I do know that he married an Ellen Turley from Hawkhurst so perhaps that was where he was.

There is a Robert TURLEY aged 24 and an Ellen TURLEY aged 25 on the 1841 census for Staplehurst.  Have a look at the Staplehurst website mentioned earlier.
