Hi I'm looking for my great grandmother born c 1864 hampshire eastley married in deptford 1887 to a Bradstreet found her on 1891 and 1901 census someone has looked on the 1881 and 1871 in hampshire but unable to find her. her name is Charlotte Shepherd think father was George Shepherd. any ideas what to do next thanks Net net

next check would be to try and locate candidate(s) in the bmd indexes.

Eastleigh would be under S Stoneham http://www.fhsc.org.uk/genuki/reg/districts/south%20stoneham.html

Followed by a general request for "George Shepherd, occ:? " in those areas 1861/1871  census

thanks for that, yes i have her marriage cert and her fathers name is george, lots of different spellings though.
