Two brothers were both described as flag merchant in rural Yorkshire dales.  Were they selling Union Jacks or pieces of slate?

Hi Jane, another brother was described as a carrier of slate.  All three were latter described as proprietor of stone quarry.  I didn't think there was much demand for selling union jacks ;)

Hi

Only the little paper variety to stick on the top of sandcastles at Whitby, Scarborough or Bridlington.
