moses hyatt born abt 1770 poss in watlington
he was married to diana born abt 1774
they had at least 1 child named moses hyatt born 1804
he was married to elizabeth lawrence born 1804 brightwell baldwin
they migrated 1844 to australia
I am hoping to find anything on the two moses's.

I do not know where they lived apart from the younger moses living in henley on thames just before they migrated .
no death dates of the elder moses and his wife diana either.

There are no HYATTs shown in the Watlington PRs (transcription) at all.

hi
thank you for finding the family for me  i did not have that census info. nor that they were not in watlington. any info i have on the hyatts came from distant relatives who appear to have got it all from 1 source.i found birth record of a younger son born in henley.
and i know that elizabeth lawrence was born in brightwell.
but nothing on where the hyatts came from

mary hyatt born brightwell 1827 christened 9 dec 1827  but cant find the other children yet.

really need moses hyatts birth details and moses senior and diana's.
but it seems they are not from watlington from the lack of records
it sems moses was a family name and other biblical names as well. so hopefully someone can find them somewhere.
once again thank you for this information.
was there any other hyatts in brightwell and any mention anywhere of moses and dianna (the parents)

Sorry, no sign of Moses and Diana's marriage on the OFHS's Oxfordshire Marriage Index (1538-1837) - searched HYAT(T), HYET(T) and HIAT(T).

Watlington is, of course, quite close to the county boundary so it's possible they married outside Oxfordshire.

thank you for that info
at least I am getting an idea of where they were not born and married so that helps in narrowing it down.
seems earlier research may be wrong.
moses and diana had a daughter christened at brightwell baldwin 1827 another child moses 1833 and jonah 1837
and a daughter dinah christened 1843 she was registered in henley on thames as well as her brother jonah reg 1840.
they were living in brightwell 1841 (census)
and moses no 2  wife elizabeth lawrence was born in brightwell baldwin.1804.
everything seems to be coming back to brightwell baldwin.

hi was there any other information on the census place of birth or occupation or any thng that could help me locate the family  before the census.
I have really come to a big wall with these hyatts. most hyatts in victoria australia come from this line and it all seems to end here.
it was mnetioned by an early researcher that they could have come from buckinghamshire.
hoping someone can help.
