James Redgewell was my great great great grandfather, and the oldest man who lived in Great Warley, where he died (according to a newspaper clipping my grandmother sent me he was about 101-102 when he died; it contains a photo of him opening his telegram from the Queen).

I'm looking for more information on him as well.

Hi,
I am actually following the Bearman's and this couple are a very distant branch to my tree.

It was very interesting to read your added information about James.

I see that you are new to posting on RootsChat.  I am sure that you will be made to feel welcome and there will be plenty of people out there to help you with any questions you might have.
