Is anyone able to locate the marriage details of Robert Wood to Emily Lucy R Jackman on the Isle of Wight Sept Q 1904.

Hi Caroline,

They were not married in a C of E church but may have married in the register office or in a non-conformist or RC church.

Emily had been married before - it looks like she was born Emily Vine.

The reference to get the certificate from the IOW office is RO49/35

Update - she had previously married Charlie Jackman at St John, Northwood on IOW in 1896.

I can't find a registration of Charlie's death on the Isle of Wight.  Perhaps he died in the Boer War??

Hello, I have come across your post from a google search, we have Robert Wood and Emily Vine (AKA Emily Canning, AKA Rose Wood) in our family tree, actually our search all started with Robert Wood as he is my husbands Great Grandfather.
